Taking groups outdoors
Every country and local authority has its own guidance for schools and teachers wishing to take their learners outdoors on a regular basis. It is up to you as the teacher to check what the arrangements are for your school. There are plenty of organisations that can provide advice e.g. Royal Highland Education Trust, Farming and Countryside Education, Woodland Trust, and government agencies.
